Our mission is to create and maintain natural landscapes that preserve a healthy environment.

Looking for a landscaper who really knows landscaping? Robert C. Boyce is a Registered Landscape Architect and Horticulturist who has done the work, from design and planting to stonework, restoration, maintenance and long-term landscape care.
We design and install sustainable landscapes for properties of all sizes and styles, from traditional gardens to full backyard transformations, municipal sites and everything in between. Projects typically include native and pollinator plantings, and can also incorporate trees and shrubs, custom stonework, annuals, raised vegetable gardens and other elements based on how you want to use your space.
From prairie and woodland plantings to beautiful garden beds, foundation plantings and outdoor living spaces, we bring deep knowledge of what grows well in the Chicago area and throughout Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Our approach to landscape care and eco-friendly maintenance supports long-term plant health, while our core values of environmental responsibility and sustainability are reflected in how each project is designed and maintained.
We work on properties of all sizes, from smaller residential gardens to full backyard transformations and larger landscape projects.

Native and pollinator plantings for backyards and larger natural areas, from butterfly and pollinator beds to prairie, woodland, wetland and shoreline plantings suited to Illinois and Midwest conditions.

Restoration of natural areas, including controlled burns, invasive species removal and reestablishment of native plant communities based on site conditions and long-term management.

We approach landscape design with an understanding of how plants grow, how landscapes change over time and how each space is actually used. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all solutions, we design with the conditions of your property and the long-term health of the landscape in mind.
Our work incorporates native and pollinator plants, along with perennials, trees and shrubs selected for Illinois and Midwest conditions. These landscapes are designed to perform well over time, requiring less ongoing intervention while supporting a healthy, sustainable environment.
