Perennials grow and bloom over Spring and Summer, die back every Winter and then return in the Spring producing a beautiful, consistent look for your garden.

Greenhouses and Nursery

At Natural Environments, providing great products and a personalized shopping experience are more than just words...it's what we do.  Our knowledgeable staff shares a passion for the green industry, native and pollinator plants, and is always willing to take the time to make sure the customer's wants and needs are met.

Step into our vintage greenhouses to see just how we grow all the beautiful plants or visit us at these Farmer's Markets:

Wednesdays - Ravinia Farmer's Market

Saturdays - Deerfield Farmer's Market

Natural Environments Greenhouses and Nursery organically grows annuals, perennials, native plants, pollinator plants, vegetable seedlings and herbs. Our surrounding fields, with rich Lake County soils, support organic vegetables and cut flowers. We purposely keep large and ancient Black Walnut Trees (part of the original "Long Grove") in place and maintain pollinator gardens.

Our sales area is a meandering path with displays that help you visualize how plants will look in your garden. We invite you step into our vintage greenhouses and select your plants from an even larger selection.
